What’s the role?

The Technical Consultant team is a one-stop-shop for all the technical requirements of the project, we act as advisors & are implementers of solutions. We have a mix of skill pool who are experts in IAM & Security, D&A, SAP, Connectivity, Integration, DIY and EUP.

We advise, design and help projects to implement integrated, secure and scalable enterprise technology solutions that are compliant and cost efficient. The solution is expected to be aligned with Shell's IT strategy and are the best fit for purpose. Business engages with us via portfolio in the discovery or kick-off phase and gain advantage over others as we can help them stay competitive by implementing innovative and relevant technical solutions for the business.

The Technical Consultant pool offers a unique skillset you won't find elsewhere in Shell or outside. Business can rely on us to carefully assess the infrastructure, look at risks or constraints and work with the virtual team and vendors to implement and solve issues that inevitably arise during projects. Our goal is to provide a solution to the business which is reliable, cost effective, secure and we look forward to work on agile ways of solution delivery.

What we need from you

Alongside your bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, you have:


Experience in architecting and designing solutions on Integration Domains for API Messaging, A2A Messaging, B2B, Pub Sub, Data ingestion, ELT/ETL.
Technological skills on iPaaS using MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, BizTalk and SSIS.
Strong development, design, architectural knowledge with Cloud and On-Prem integration.
Strong platform knowledge and implementation skills in MuleSoft and Integration tools in Azure.
Experience in implementing High Availability/Disaster Recovery Designs and testing fail over scenarios for Enterprise Business Critical Services.
Demonstrated knowledge on Enterprise Integration Design Patterns.
Experience in setting up DevOps using Azure for CI CD requirements.
Significant experience on enterprise level middleware implementations.
Expertise in customer collaboration/engagement & vendor management.
Expertise in analyzing requirements, preparing high level and low-level designs, project plan, effort, and cost estimation, assist with ground implementation, secure network/connectivity.
Ability to secure by design implementation following industry standard Security implementation, Identity Access Management, Connectivity, Information Risk Management.
Extensive implementation experience on certificates, public-private key authentication.
Hands on experience on SAAS, PAAS, IAAS and iPaaS Services. Integrating Securely with SAP and Non-SAP applications – internal and external to organization.
Conducted requirements gathering workshops, brainstorming workshops for integration requirements, coordinating with various stakeholders/customers/3rd party Systems, Design Integration solution, Build and Deployment of the new systems and support them towards stabilization.
