Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks a Advisory Senior Consultant in New York, NY.
Work You’ll Do
Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for process improvement; assess and implement compliance for regulatory and risk management programs, monitoring/reporting and training; evaluate financial data flow in an enterprise for systems, process and control limitations; generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo; facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services; demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, Deloitte & Touche products and service lines; understand clients' business environment and complex risk management approaches; build credit risk assessment tools and provide probabilistic risk estimates for credit, operational, liquidity and counterparty risk for various products; and interface with business, IT, and members of executive management to design and implement solutions.

Requirements
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of financial regulatory risk data and reporting experience.
Experience must include eighteen months of:
Assessing banking entity’s compliance with regulations issued by Federal Reserve Board, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC);
Developing data quality rules, controls and monitoring requirements to drive validation of new and remediated data in reporting repositories;
Helping banking clients address Federal Reserve Bank’s (FRB) issuance of Matters Requiring Attention (MRA)/ Matters Requiring Immediate Attention (MRIA) notices on regulatory reporting practices and preparing for FRB exams; and
Working on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to win more business and enhance firm profitability.
