Experienced Pricing Actuary – London/Home basedWho we are looking forDo you want to address the pricing modelling challenges faced by insurers?Would you like to work with a team who are developing innovative systems for the insurance and reinsurance market?If you are interested in Pricing Systems Development, we would like to speak to you.About the roleThe successful candidate will be key role in the team responsible for developing RPC Tyche’s Tyche Pricing System (‘TPS’), a ground-breaking product which pushes the boundaries of commercial pricing. You will be part of a tight-knit and friendly team that forms a collaboration between our actuarial pricing teams and software development teams, whose goal is to support the adoption of TPS across the insurance market. As a key member of our team you will play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our clients through delivering high quality innovative solutions and delivering projects. You will work in an innovative, encouraging and buzzing atmosphere either based in one of our offices or at home.This role will encompass a wide variety of work. Initially, you can expect to be involved with the following:Pricing system development. This will involve leading and supervising development work by collaborating closely with clients to assemble business requirements, crafting, implementing and reviewing the solution, and developing automated testing frameworks.Sales support. Supporting the sales process for Tyche and TPS through proof of concept exercises and trials.We actively support the career development of our team and expect their skills and roles to develop quickly. As a dynamic, rapidly-growing company there are many opportunities for career advancement.Our role is primarily office based although some homeworking will be vital due to the current COVID related restrictions.
