Summary:

At Tyson Foods, we are on a digital transformation journey which includes moving our on-premise operations to the cloud. We are well on our way to make this a reality and are looking for someone that can join our team who shares this vision and has the passion and experience to execute. You will be a thought leader in the vision, approach, and all aspects of our cloud journey. You will partner with other IT solution teams to provide coaching and insight to cloud related technologies. You will have a blend of strong technical acumen with cloud and on-premise technologies and the ability to communicate and mentor others across the organization. You will strive to learn and understand the most current cloud technologies and capabilities of the various providers to find the best opportunities for Tyson to leverage technology to drive our transformation.

Responsibilities:


Provide leadership and direction across the organization to understand and improve the user experience
Continue to refine the utilization strategy for AWS and GCP platforms to enhance the overall experience of the organization and consider platform architecture, security, organizational and financial aspects of the platforms.
Align cross functional leadership teams and key stakeholders across the organization against a common vision and approach toward how we work on migration success, and interlock strategy, roadmap and execution plan
Contribute to product and solution roadmaps across the IT organization
Facilitate complex problem-solving sessions with the extended technology team to realize solutions with our cloud platforms
Partner with industry leading technology companies to understand their product roadmaps and capabilities


Desired Skills and Experience:


A passion and curiosity for cloud technology and the ability to drive adoption and utilization across the organization
7 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build relationships with senior business and technology leaders
5 years of experience in cloud solutions strategy and Implementation for mid to large size organizations on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
Experience in leading multi-stream cloud transformation programs and initiatives for mid to large size organizations
Experience with cloud financial operations and optimization
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area
Practical experience with modern cloud-based operations including experience designing for resiliency in the cloud, an understanding of key application resiliency patterns with site reliability engineering, security and workload optimization
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members. Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally with customers, peers, and management. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
