It’s an environment which encourages you to achieve your best - together we’ll empower results.  The Opportunity The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of local and international retirement and investment and benefits consulting and financial wellbeing services. They will gain and develop their international retirement and investment knowledge by working with other members of Aon’s international wealth team and liaising with Aon colleagues around the world. ResponsibilitiesDesign, financing, tax*, and ongoing governance of statutory and voluntary retirement (DC and DB) and benefit plans around the world; Co-ordination of retirement and benefit issues related to international mobile employees/benefit programs, M&A and other business integrations/ separations; Delivery of global and local retirement solutions (e.g. global / local retirement / benefit reviews / implementation, ongoing benefit management support, investment performance reviews, pension committee reporting, presentations and meetings, financial wellness solutions and strategies) and technology solutions; Global retirement accounting valuations and consolidations. Handle the full actuarial valuation process including data collection, valuation, preparation of actuarial reports, and communication with clients; Partner with senior consultants to understand new market developments and how to recognize these issues in the client situation; Analyze and interpret client and market data, translating data into insights and delivering high quality to clients; Conduct client specific market studies, benchmarking and/or analysis of employee benefit programs; Keep clients up to date on market changes; Analyses information; suggests approaches to work and previews and reviews standard reports. Demonstrates clear logical and succinct thought process.Uses technical international retirement and benefits knowledge and gains experience to be able to proactively assist with supporting senior colleagues and advising clients on all aspects in respect of the management of their retirement and other benefit plans around the world.Acts as a team member for bigger projects providing support to other consultants, working under limited supervision with verbal guidance.Takes responsibility for and is likely to deliver some smaller projects, working off own initiative with some senior support. Prepares meeting materials and participates as appropriate in both internal and client meetings.Works independently to prepare information to meet client requests and support the work of colleagues.Ensures quality by reviewing work critically and applying technical expertise. Efficiently manages deadlines and works independently. Must have attention to detail.Provides support in new business and strategic development working closely under the guidance of other colleagues.Work closely with clients and senior consultants to build long-term relationships, existing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction.(*restricted by licensing/professional standards and qualifications as applicable,  taxation advice and individual financial advice is explicitly out of scope)Requirements Bachelor’s in Maths/ Finance/ Economics/ Business related degree preferredExperience in certain areas of international retirement (eg M&A, internationally mobile employees, benefit audits, governance and strategy design and implementation, new plan implementation, plan settlement, cross-border pension financing) helpful.Previous experience of working in an international team for another global consulting organization, for a multinational corporation in HR/finance or working for a financial/professional services company helpful, but not essential.Experience working in the finance/professional services industry in and/or outside of Singapore, or in a multi-country team can be beneficial.Experience in delivering accounting valuations and/or retirement accounting consolidations, but not essential.Excellent written and communication skills and ability to work in a multi-country team having regard to cultural differences. Fluent in English.
