**Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Corporate Development Senior Manager to work remotely within: CA, OR and/or WA.**
We are seeking a Corporate Development Senior Manager who will play an integral part of the Corporate Development team as a flexible problem solver who will engage in a broad array of topics. This will include providing hands-on management of a portfolio of discrete initiatives (e.g., execution of strategic alliances, diligence and other M&A activities, and other strategic topics) from early scoping through to completion, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative capabilities to inform and shape decision making for those projects. This position fills a key position as an analytic and strategic business partner to senior executives, flexibly responding to needs working effectively with people at all levels in the organization to develop recommendations and drive change. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH Mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, they will serve as a role model for the values and Mission of the organization.
**In this position you will have the following responsibilities:**
Execute and manage day-to-day operationalization and technological deployment of existing partnerships like Nuance Communications in conjunction with IS and clinical stakeholders (e.g., development of project plans)
Develop strategic frameworks and financial assessments to evaluate opportunities for revenue diversification initiatives across Providence and Tegria (e.g., enhanced utilization of existing assets, acquisitions, cross-service line partnerships)
Conduct market assessments and diligence individual companies in support of partnership negotiations
With support of Executive Director, devise and execute contract negotiation plans across Legal, IS, and Clinical stakeholders
Contribute to the development and growth of Corporate Development team, including recruiting and codification of team processes
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Health Administrations, or related discipline.
3 years experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, or related fields, with background in consulting
3 years progressively increasing responsibility with problem solving and project management experience of complex, multi-regional, strategically important initiatives in a role that covered M&A, management consulting, finance and strategy, and/or business development with background in consulting.
3 years experience in change management, facilitation, and process improvement methodologies with substantial project management experience of complex, multi regional, strategically important initiatives in consulting.
Knowledge of trends and developments in healthcare organizations, functions, and processes.
Proficient in basic productivity and financial analysis software (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point).
Demonstrated experience delivering against project timelines and goals in complex corporate environments.
Possess and demonstrate emotional intelligence appropriate for someone working with Board of Directors, Board committees, and C-suite executives.
Drive to actionable answers under self-direction in environment of uncertainty.
Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and visually to diverse stakeholder groups .
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health Administration or related discipline.
6 years experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, or related fields.
6 years experience in change management, facilitation, and process improvement methodologies with substantial project management experience of complex, multi regional, strategically important initiatives
6 years progressively increasing responsibility with problem solving and project management experience of complex, multi-regional, strategically important initiatives in a role that covered M&A, management consulting, finance and strategy, and/or business development
