The role of an Associate Partner (AP) will be to leverage your current knowledge, sales track record, and executive relationships to lead clients on this ambitious journey, identifying and delivering digital marketing, branding and strategic consulting. The offerings/engagements focus on user experience strategy, user experience design, user testing, architecture, and development concentrating in Distribution Sector.
The AP will team directly with IBM Partners from our strategic accounts and be responsible for identifying and leading sales efforts for both new and add on opportunities. They will help manage all internal pipeline and account management reporting responsibilities. During the sales process, This AP has direct accountability for: approach definition, early capability and qualification presentations; proposal development, contract development; pricing; securing approvals. The AP has responsibility for successful project delivery - managing the profit targets and delivering with high customer satisfaction. The AP will provide direction & definition of approach for multiple projects, understanding client needs & shaping clients' views on project deliverables. Responsibility for ensuring delivery of results requires teamwork between practitioners, client resources, and third party independent software vendors (ISVs) as needed. This is a consulting services business development and delivery role
in complex & integrated environments for large clients.
The AP will have day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational account management activities, including: pipeline management, revenue forecasts, bid & proposal management, contract quality assurance and compliance, and interactive marketing initiatives. The AP will help build the client account team while providing hands-on leadership, direction, and mentoring to the team as well as manage client relationships. This individual must be capable of working in a time-compressed, highly dynamic & potentially ambiguous client situation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
We have an integrated delivery model where work is done on-site, in our studio, and offshore. In order to sell and manage project delivery, travel is expected and averages 2-4 days per week, primarily in the eastern coast and Midwest.
It is generally expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of Chicago.
Required
* High School Diploma/GED
* At least 3 years experience in delivering complex custom application development projects and initiatives with tangible results, working across organizational boundaries, and interfacing with senior executives
* At least 3 years experience in demonstrating ability to solution, sell, and deliver complex engagements
* At least 3 years experience in demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
* English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 5 years experience in delivering complex custom application development projects and initiatives with tangible results, working across organizational boundaries, and interfacing with senior executives
* At least 5 years experience in demonstrating ability to solution, sell, and deliver complex engagements
* At least 3 years experience in contributing to thought leadership in digital marketing, branding and strategic consulting, facilitation techniques, and leading practices
* At least 3 years experience in writing proposals, estimating work and interacting with middle- and upper-level management
* At least 3 years experience in interactive in distribution sector (Retail, Travel and Transportation, Consumer Package)
