Job Overview
Our client is a multi-award-winning travel company, located in the heart of Kilkenny. They are seeking to hire an experience Senior Travel Consultant to join their busy head office.
This role is fully on site, Monday - Friday, 9am -5pm.
Previous travel experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
Communication with clients from initial contact through to travel.
Booking of all aspects of travel from flights, hotels, car hire, transfers, packages. and cruises.
The ability and desire to advise on, plan and sell travel to a wide client base whilst delivering an unparalleled level of client care.
Our Ideal Candidate
Previous knowledge of Global Reservation System (GDS).
Previous Travel Agent experience.
2 Years experience in a travel environment is essential, with first hand travel experience.
You will need to be customer focused, with an ability to work under pressure.
Previous experience of working to and achieving sales targets.
