Aon is looking for a GBS Implementation Consultant - Preferred location is Winston-Salem, NC. (But open to virtual) The GBS Solutions Consultant (Global and Regional) will be accountable for determining the best solution approach to meet a client’s needs. This includes overseeing the creation of requirement documentation from both a client plan design/service delivery perspective, as well as, a system enhancement perspective for The Benefit Solution (TBS) system to perform global benefits administration services. In some cases, the Solution Architect is responsible for the creation of the materials and in other cases, they are guiding system analysts and/or client-side subject matter experts. This position will also be responsible for assisting Testing/QA resources with creating and facilitating QA test plans for the initial set up and ongoing configuration of The Benefit Solution (TBS) system, as well as, QA test plans for verifying system enhancements prior to deployment of this functionality to the production area of TBS. The Solutions Ar chitect will work with the Configuration, Development and Project Management teams as needed to complete their assignments. They will use their knowledge and experience to ensure the requirements and test plans are accurately and clearly documented and will network with others on an international basis to ensure the understanding of the plans and benefits prior to beginning work. This position will work closely with consulting operations and delivery personnel. This resource will be partnered with the client-side resources to guide them in the assessment and documentation of their needs; and will help to project manage the client-side deliverables while also assisting with training and change management. Requirements■ Gather requirements from application end-users and prepare requirements definition documentation for system enhancement and maintenance items■ Review and contribute to QA test plans to fully test client configuration from a plan rules and administrative processing perspective■ Assist with quality assurance testing following documented test plans of client configuration and system enhancement/maintenance items to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects■ Documents all problems and works to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management■ Review technical specifications and work with development team to resolve issues■ May be involved with training end-users or other testers on application functionality■ Provide guidance to end-users on best practices with implementing new application functionality and support end-users in determining root-cause of stated issues■ Assist with trouble shooting configuration issues■ Work with project managers to ensure all deliverables are met on time and accurate■ Provide responsive feedback to clients’ (internal and external) needs and inquiries■ Requires strong client management experience ■ Ability to travel required Education/Skills Preferred■ 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: benefits administration related environment, software requirement documentation and/or web testing.■ 2-3 years preferred experience with relational database (SQL Server, PL/SQL, T-SQL, MS Access, Visual Basic or Data Junction).■ Client and project management experience. ■ Bilingual Portuguese, Mandarin or Spanish skills a plus.■ Experience in researching, analyzing and documenting functional needs.■ Implementations, data migrations and conversions experience a plus.■ Ability to quickly develop an understanding of systems and technology.■ Excellent analytical and communication skills.
