Software/IT Deployment & Integration Consultant
Seeking an experienced IT/engineering consultant with strong technical ability and knowledge to assist us with deploying a tool for one of our clients. Individual should be knowledgeable of:
- API and integration
- PHP programming and capability
- Microsoft Word and Excel (VBA programming and integration)
- GDPR, security, and compliance
- Protection of proprietary code and information
Tool is partially built and needs completion. The final product should allow user to submit document via form > call third-party software via API to parse document and return json data > handle json data in php > output Word document template that will also contain some default text and comments based on original data.
Ultimately, wed like to find someone who can provide both guidance and programming/development of the tool. The role would require integration with clients current systems and potentially ongoing support during a pilot where several bugs would need to be fixed and or functionality may need to be adjusted.
Need to be able to answer the following:
1. How do you recommend we protect our proprietary code?
2. What projects have you done similar to this in the past?
3. Are you proficient in programming PHP and building web applications or using WordPress?
4. What challenges do you foresee with this project?
5. Are you familiar with GDPR compliance and security features?
