 Associate Consultant, Governance and ESG Advisory Solutions The Associate Consultant will be a key member of the Aon Governance Consulting team. In this role, the Associate Consultant will report to and collaborate with senior members of the team to advise clients and colleagues. The Aon Governance Consulting team works in a loosely-structured, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. You will be involved in all aspects of corporate governance consulting engagements, with a focus on quantitative modeling and analysis of pay and performance and equity plans.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Assist in all aspects of day-to-day client supportAnalyze and quantitatively assess equity plan share requests and pay-for-performance, to identify sources of concern to shareholders in executive compensation and corporate governance proposalsReview and amend proxy statements, including the Compensation, Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) and equity plan proposals to effectively communicate with the institutional investor and proxy advisor audiencesWork with clients to understand the consequences of low shareholder vote results and determine possible courses of action to address and mitigate these issuesAssist in auditing client corporate governance practices, including board structure, compensation practices, and environmental and social (E&S) oversight and policies, including in relation to shareholder proposals and compliance with industry benchmarking and reporting standardsSkills and experience that will lead to successAt least one to three years of work experience preferred.Prefer experience in corporate governance, proxy analysis, executive compensation, or related financial services rolesAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Education: Bachelor’s degree  How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.  Plus, our agile, inclusive environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon.
