Assistant Consultant – Corporate Communications – Toronto
Hill Knowlton Strategies is looking for a solutions-oriented Assistant Consultant
to join our Corporate Communications team in Toronto.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with your manager and client account team leads you will:
Monitor media and social media
Engage in media relations
Write and edit compelling, error-free client and media materials
Develop reports, trackers, agendas, lists and other project materials to keep client deliverables on track
Work with teams to plan and execute events; liaise with suppliers
COMPETENCIES:
Works effectively with multiple agency and client teams
Proven ability to deliver projects in spite of obstacles
Highly developed written and oral communications skills
Critical thinking
Ability to work independently and in a high-performing team
The ability to multitask, working simultaneously on many deliverables for many clients
REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary degree or post-graduate certificate in communications, public relations, journalism or a similar program, or relevant work experience
Approximately one year of agency experience
An interest in corporate communications and community relations
Demonstrated understanding and experience with social media, digital strategies and tools
