Who is Network Data Systems?
Network Data Systems (NDS) is a proven leader in IT infrastructure consulting. We are privately owned, profitable, and growing rapidly. More than 90% of our revenue comes from professional services (not hardware), which means our people are at the core of our business. Our vendor partnerships include Cisco, Juniper, F5, Microsoft and VMWare. Our customer partners include AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink and Orange Business Services.
Why choose NDS?
1) NDS culture. Everyone says they are employee focused. But we live it. We invest in the training and development of our employees, and we don't believe in wage freezes. The proof is in our low employee turnover and high satisfaction ratings.
2) Cutting edge technology in complex customer environments. Nexus, UCS, mobile computing solutions, etc. Our customers depend on NDS to keep them ahead of their competition, which is why we're ahead of ours.
3) Low travel. Sure, you won't rack up the frequent flyer miles like you can with some employers. But the dog probably won't growl at you when you come home.
4) Growth. We've more than doubled in size over the past three years. We moved to a new facility in March to house our growing managed services and consulting teams. And we're not slowing down.
Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking for a Senior Cisco Infrastructure Consultant to join our team to deliver all aspects of complex, cutting-edge network related projects for our clients. NDS consultants provide a broad range of services, encompassing pre-sales project scoping, delivery, and managed services. They function independently as well as in project teams to meet customer deliverables and exceed their expectations.
If you possess the following technical qualifications and are located in the Chicago area, we should definitely have a conversation about how NDS can help advance your career:
* Current CCIE (written and lab) required
* CCIE-level knowledge of routing and switching resulting from at least five years of professional consulting experience on multiple complex networks
* Experience with enterprise or carrier-class Cisco equipment, including Nexus
* Experience in enterprise network design, migration, and assessment as well as network capacity planning
* Advanced knowledge of MPLS and various routing protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
* Exceptional customer service, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to develop formal solutions presentations and present recommendations to clients
