IBM Software Services for Collaboration (ISSC) has 3 openings for Portal or WCM development professionals in our North America group. Our team works with the most cutting edge technologies and offers interesting US travel opportunities and possible international travel if requested. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing Portal or Web Content Manager solutions to meet customers' needs. There are opportunities to work with cloud computing and social business solutions. In addition to customer-facing activities, these positions are expected to provide giveback to the Web Experience community through contributions in knowledge transfer and intellectual capital from engagement, and contributions to enablement sessions in relevant areas of specialization to that community.
Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 2 years experience in designing, developing, and implementing Portal and Web Content Manager solutions
* At least 1 year experience in designing, developing, and implementing Portal or content migration solutions
* At least 1 year experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom portlets using Java, WCM API, JSR 286, or WEF
* Readiness to travel 75% travel annually
* English: Fluent
Preferred
* At least 6 months experience in implementing content management solutions based on CTC
* At least 6 months experience in designing, developing, and implementing Portal themes and skins using Javascript, Dojo, HTML, CSS
* At least 6 months experience in designing, developing, and implementing content workflow

About ISSC's Web Experience Practice: Our practice focuses on providing technical and project leadership to US-based clients to help them achieve success in their use of WebSphere Portal technologies including WebSphere Portal, IBM Web Content Manager, IBM Web Experience Factory, IBM Forms, and complementary products from other SWG brands and third parties. Consultants and Project Managers on this team are customer-facing with 70%-80% travel, and can live anywhere in the United States.
