AIA/ Principal Consultant - Item (Product) Data Management
Infosys Consulting's AIA (Artificial Intelligence & Automation) Practice is seeking experienced Management Consultants with a background in Data & Analytics to join at a Principal Level.
Items, Products and Brands are the critical assets for Retail, CPG companies. Item Data Management Leader will leverage latest innovations in Process Automation, and AI technologies to digitize and simplify business processes related item/ product data management. Such transformation programs help clients grow revenue.
Responsibilities:
Lead Item (Product) Data Management Transformation programs from Strategy, Roadmap, design and implementation.
Re-imagine end-to-end client business processes for Item (Product) Data Management
Elicit high-level business requirements, use case and detailed functional specs. Create deliverables such as requirement traceability matrices, workflow diagrams, and data dictionary
Design approaches to enhance data quality
Design data governance models
Create business case and transformation roadmaps
Lead internal and client teams through the Item Data Management/PIM (Product Information Management) implementation programs leveraging platforms (Stibo, Riversand, Informatica MDM, SAP MDG etc.)
Support sales pursuits and firm building efforts
Mentor staff, manage project finances
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, economics, mathematics, or related technical specialty
8 years of relevant work experience with 3 years of experience in Management Consulting
Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations

Preferred Qualifications:
Industry experience in Consumer Goods, Retail, e-Tailer (e.g. - amazon, eBay etc.), Manufacturing Industries
Process experience in the Supply Chain, Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Merchandizing
Exposure to using AI/ML/Automation creatively for client challenges
Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
This job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
