WHAT YOU'LL DO
Working under the direction of the North America Head of Marketing, this person will help shape, implement, and drive priority integrated marketing projects to improve the position of BCG's brand in our region. We are looking for a candidate with strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills, ability to use insights to drive to impact, and interest in driving strategic projects forward.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Identify priority initiatives, help shape strategy and work plans to ensure initiatives remain on track with guidance from manager
Lead planning development and drive execution of strategic projects
Work collaboratively with global, regional, practice area, and local marketing team members to gather necessary data and inputs to complete analysis and develop sound plans
Thoughtfully consolidate and analyze data, gleaning key actionable insights, integrating relevant best-in-class marketing knowledge and learning from other projects/data sources
Prepare clear, compelling presentation materials for various internal marketing and firm leadership communications and meetings
Support creation of agendas and presentation materials for Marketing Committee calls and in-person meetings
Performing other duties as assigned or required
Some example projects could include the following (though we anticipate specific needs to evolve over time):
Identify and assess external agency, partnership and sponsorship opportunities
Develop, pilot, and implement initiatives, to advance our marketing strategy
Help design and implement market research to better understand our brand positioning in NA
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor degree with demonstrated high academic achievement; MBA preferred
3-5 years experience in consulting, marketing, or other strategic roles. BCG-specific experience a plus
7-10 years of overall work experience
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills - ability to use and reason with quantitative data and qualitative inputs to structure compelling narratives for action
Very high level of proficiency in Office tools - particularly Powerpoint & Excel, Trello project management software proficiency
Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with all key stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
Strong organizational skills and high level of initiative, self-motivation, teaming, and resourcefulness; gets things done approach with a positive attitude
Comfortable in both understanding the big pitcture and working in detail
Strong attention to detail - ability to provide quick turnaround and updates for multiple requests, while maintaining strong reputation of high quality work
Ability to perform effectively under pressure; consistent management of changing situations with tact, poise, and patience
Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to embrace an iterative process
Versatility and openness towards new ideas and change

BCG's marketing team drives the firm's reputation as a thought leader. We work to strengthen and protect BCG's brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, public relations, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.
