Who You'll Work With
You'll work with McKinsey Digital in one of our North America offices.
Our Digital team brings together the best of our digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, you'll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity and digital transformation. You'll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm.

What You'll Do
You will help drive product management capability building at our clients in close collaboration with our strategy consulting teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for shepherding teams who are new to working as agile product development teams. You will help build capability as well as influence leadership on product strategy, design, delivery and scaling decisions. You will leverage your product management best practices knowledge (e.g., creating product visions, metrics, roadmaps, backlogs) and technical engineering best practices knowledge (e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps, etc.) as youlead and coach product delivery teams on a variety of digital topics including design thinking, engineering culture and DevOps.
You will also engage with consulting teams as a do-er, actively problem solving and applying product management knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar area
2 years of experience as a product manager or management consultant driving technology product strategy, technical execution and product operations, and coaching teams on agile product management practices
Experience building B2B/B2C products from the ground up with an affinity for design-based development
Experience driving product vision and day-to-day technical and design direction
Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, managing product backlogs and working with third party vendors
Expert at building capability and adapting coaching style to different learning styles; demonstrated experience coaching PO/SM roles
Experience defining product team compositions and governance models
Knowledge of multiple functional areas in addition to product management (e.g., engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing)
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Ability to present complex value propositions to senior client executives
Clear oral and written communication skills

This compensation range is specific to individuals applying to work in our Denver office and takes into account a number of factors. A reasonable estimate of the range for this role is $115,000-$115,000. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to experience and expertise.
