Your Mission
In this brand-new role, your mission is to help develop and improve how we find, attract and recruit US sales talents. You own the entire recruitment process, including researching candidate markets, creating talent pools, and recruitment marketing. You’re also guiding managers throughout the interview process and working with Sandvik’s personality assessment tools. You support managers, with a primary focus on sales roles where you find talent based on the sales territory where there is a high opportunity for growth. We expect you to work independently; still, you need to thrive at networking and be able to identify challenges, asking for the support you need from the local HR services teams and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to selection of the final candidate; you write job advertisements based on set guidelines, post the job on relevant channels, search for candidates, screen candidates, hold interviews, and conduct personality assessments.
Continually develop and improve the methods we use for sourcing-based recruiting.
Cooperate with and hand over to local HR teams to ensure a smooth transition for signing contracts and local onboarding.
Network and build a global pool of talents.
If needed, partner with external recruitment agencies and manage those relationships.
You report to the Head of HR Services in Brazil and have strong support from an HR Business Partner in the United States. You also effectively collaborate and align best practices with the local Americas HR Services teams.
Your Profile
To succeed in this independent role, you have substantial experience in sourcing and recruitment. We are looking for a person with solid global recruitment experience who is comfortable working with LinkedIn tools like Talent Insight and InMail. You have previous experience in building talent pools and actively sourcing passive candidates, as well as knowledge of assessment tools and processes. Your curiosity for new ways of working is more important than your technical skills.
Although your earlier experience is essential, we highly value your passion and personality. We are on a journey to developing world class talent acquisition processes – we pay great attention to your forward-looking approach, where you easily adapt to our agile environment and spot talent acquisition trends. With your excellent time management and communication skills, you create and maintain a positive candidate experience for our applicants. Taking ownership and challenging us in a way that realizes our best potential is expected and necessary, and you also have the interpersonal skills and confidence to question managers in their decision-making while still preserving a collaborative relationship. This, combined with a business and customer-driven mindset, is the key to success in this role.
Location is home-office within USA/Mexico/Brazil. Since we are a global business, travel will be a natural part of the role, as well as efficient digital collaboration across time zones.
