As a member of the APPO I/S Organizational Change Management and Communications Team, the Assoc Business Program Consultant will collaborate with I/S leadership, stakeholders and associates to help facilitate awareness, understanding and reinforcement of strategic I/S initiatives. These initiatives are critical to the company's mission to modernize systems and processes to better serve its customers.
Supports management teams in all aspects of communication, strategic planning, change management, organizational development and operational effectiveness.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Works with management teams to prioritize strategic and department projects and initiatives in support of business objectives. Cultivates collaborative working relationships to manage projects resulting in high quality deliverables, process improvement programs and actionable insights.
Assists with the flow of information to the rest of the organization, including items of a complex or sensitive nature. Develops and implements comprehensive communication plans for internal and external audiences.
Coordinates internal meetings (leadership teams, operational and strategy updates) including agenda setting, meeting content and presentation development.
Develops appropriate curriculum to further enhance the competencies, knowledge and experience of the department. May develop programs to support strategic objectives.
Manages and facilitates process improvement initiatives. Develops and administers project/process documentation, recommendations and implementation procedures. Collaborates with other operational departments to define processes and procedures, and to create and measure workflow processes and efficiencies.
Assists with the annual strategic planning process within the department. Assists with annual business plans for the department that align and help drive the division strategy. Establishes and tracks meaningful department metrics. Ensures strategic initiatives are tracked and project portfolios are managed. May participate and provide recommendations during the annual budgeting process.
Leads the change management initiatives that impact department culture norms following change management methodology. Acts as a change management advocate and trusted resource providing guidance to the leadership team. Facilitates sessions with sponsor to identify the change management strategy and implementation approach. Leads change, supports team building, recognizes contributions and celebrates accomplishments.
Manages other strategic business projects as required, including initiatives to improve internal operations and processes within the department. Provides subject matter expertise and support for special projects including identifying the problem and making recommendations.
Create, proofread and post internal communications across I/S.
Assist in Agile Planning.
Support video creations and recording sessions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple programs simultaneously, some experience and knowledge of continuous process improvement, project management, change management practices, methodologies and tools.
