Job Description
Deliver billable consulting services, with some efforts being directed toward various MicroStrategy and/or supporting products and services.
Ensure a solid understanding of business objectives associated with assigned projects and/or programs.
Connect project outcomes with customers' overall vision and MicroStrategy account strategy.
Develop a technical competence of MicroStrategy products with a focus on implementation.
Leverage MicroStrategy best practices for service delivery.
Develop an understanding of the project life cycle and associated customer skills.
Communicate effectively with team members, both internally and with customers.
Develop customer relationship and expectation management skills by independently working with customers.
Participate in business development activities with guidance, as necessary.
Follow methodology for well-defined work.
Observe and understand the dynamics of influence, internally and externally with customers.
Work within an internal sphere of influence typically bounded by project or regional activities.
Support the team by taking ideas from concept through full deployment.
Develop an awareness of the competitive landscape including key differentiators and competitive positioning.
Qualifications Experience in SQL
, Stored Procedures, Java, Python, Unix Scripting
Experience in at least one or more databases/platforms
, such as Snowflake, Google Big Query, Hadoop, Redshift, Elastic Search, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Teradata, etc.
Experience in ETL tools
, such as Informatica, Talend, etc.
Knowledge of Cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, GCP
Knowledge of Data Warehouse Design and Implementation
Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
2-5 years of related prior experience
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
Staffing to local projects wherever possible, expect periods and assignments of up to 75 - 80% travel
Hands-on experience with the MicroStrategy Schema Design and Development is a plus
